Yeah take Ken Rockwell with a big ol pinch of salt. He is extremely opinionated and a lot of really on to it people strongly disagree with a lot of his stuff.

I envy you so much EGD for being able to consider a 5d mkii
I so want to switch to full frame, hoping the new mkii brings the prices of mki's down. Why are you selling your 24-105L tho? Would have thought that would be pretty decent on a 5D.

    Selling the 24-105L as switching to 24-70L F2.8 and 70-200L F2.8 IS
also looking for a fast prime if the budget allows, maybe a 85L F1.2 or 135L F2

I envy you guys for having maximized the capabilities of your current DSLRs.
I'm still just on a 350D and I still feel that this camera is the boss of me.

Im rocking a 350d also, they are great cameras. the only reason I would get a new one is to get better high iso and a bigger screen (maybe that creamy awesomness of the 5d pictures too big pixels ftw).

I need to post some more pics!

    Re: NZH Photography thread

I've got a question please. What is needed to make a panoramic shot? Do I need Photoshop or similar?

When I was in Perth I was up at Kings Park and took some shots of the city and surrounding areas. I kinda just stood in one spot and slowly turned taking a series of photos. Is it possible to join them up or is there a special technique?

Or does someone want to do it for me?

    Love the last three ARGHRR.

Some randoms from last nights speedway. Only place to take pics wasn't where our group was so only took a few.
