Older Hondas Only Picture Thread

ok its time to see how many people on this site dont own a vtec or a type r civic or any other car after 1989 eg the 3g civic, 1g teg, 1g crx, 2g lude and of course 3g accord.

My second 3G 2.0Si Accord. Sold it about 4 years ago, it was a great car and I kinda miss it

looks like its time for the crusher for that car.

Why? Just because the guard and bumper need replacing?

Unless it is actually unroadworthy (and I 'd be surprised my old Accord with not a single straight panle etc always got WOFs compared to my reasonably tidy CR-X which always fails!) it looks like a great first or budget project. A couple of new panels and some bog, sweet as, silver's very easy to spray...

oh god just cause its not a freakin type-r, god i get sick of looking and hearing about type-r's, oldschool ftw!!

that car is a machine to say the least, its had some crazy engines in it, and some crazy fix up jobs too lol, and all on minimal budget. and he does have a normal boot maybe even 2.

Where's that early '90s Accord with the H22 in it gone (and I'll reserve my feelings on the kit but that's the owner's decision)? And Nige's old beast of course? :thumbsup:

Personally I'd love to do an older Honda. Thing is though I'd go with a VTEC engine - why ignore them just because they weren't available back when I were a lad?

they match when im on the track, i got 2 more of the white ones with hoosiers on them. probably should have put them on for the photos. might have to photo chop some in. as for the stickers, thats the secret to the speed. 5 horse per sticker. 10 horse for the big ones.

There was a mint condition white AT Si hatch just down the road from me - all stock except for minilight type wheels.

I say was because it's picked up some nasty looking damage on the passenger side, which makes me sad I'm actually tempted to buy and repair it but don't have the cash atm

point #1i: own an 89 accord i've owned it since i was 15. theyre awesome. i used to thrash the shit out of it deliberatly and it still hasnt let me down, even after 250000k's!!!

point #2:dude, your cars engine bay is soooo clean!!

OMGOSH!! My mum and dad had one of them!! When i was little i used to sit on dads knee and steer! We had so much fun in that car, it actually amazing how many people you can fit in it!!
They dont go too well up wet slippery grass tho, LOL
