D.I.Y Lip

[Track to Street]

I thought you guys may be interested in a little d.i.y lip I made the other night.
All you need is some pop rivets and a rivet gun, some L brackets and some 75mm
garden edging that you can pick up from Mitre 10 mega for $26 for 10m.
It's too low at the moment but I'm planning on trimming it.

Our monitors are just calibrated differently so some areas look black to you? I will try get a shot on the weekend of it.

Yeah it does make it look more raw.

I did a similar thing a few months back. Mitre10 special, I don't actually know what the plastic strip is meant to be used for (I assume it's a flashing for weatherproofing). Here's a pic, not very noticeable or painted. (Trimmed it so it doesn't scrape on anything). The idea was that it kills the curve in the factory lip (so it's not rounded). $10.50

Am i the only one that thinks that it doesnt look good at all? To me just looks like a piece of plastic riveted to the bottom of the bumper, doesn't resemble a lip at all.

I think it would look better if it started from higher up (kinda like what Burelli did with his, eliminated the bottom curve of the bumper)

iv eseen this style of lip before and they can look good. i dont like yours at all though, doesnt blend well at all and rivets stand out way too much.

i don't like it, looks too plowey but different strokes for different folks. i did mine using brick edging, looks alot more subtle
