    Fabrication thread

I dont know if many other people do stuff like this so this thread could well fail, but if you guys are into custom fabrication, heres a place to show it off

I was very bored today so decided very spontaniously to make a twin turbo setup for my ZC CRX out of spare bits in my garage (and a VERY cheap flux core mig welder - so dont hate on the welds ).

I used spare ZC and H22a exhaust manifolds, and EF3 exhaust and a TD025 turbo (so far). Im considering running either a VF secondary turbo from a suby or maybe even a TD04 and use the TD025 to spool it (sequential twin turbo), but at this stage its paralell twin turbo (so am on the lookout for another TD025)

(only half finished obviously - waiting to find a nice cheap second turbo)

Lets see what you guys have done

Sometimes when I'm driving my civic, I turn off the radio and listen to the exhaust. On those days, I pop my collar extra hard so those who are deaf & waiting at the bus stop can visually see how hard my shit is.

liking the idea of this thread. will chuck in my input.

cold airbox with a 3.8L v6 panel filter curved for better flow.

sorry i haven't had a chance to clean up welds yet

my 1st attempt at some 4-2-1 headers. might re-do these soon if dyno results aren't up to spec.

centre console surround in my trueno. once again, too lazy to polish it much more. i need me some cheap child labour!

    Lol here we go.
Total cost: $3 worth of materials. Atleast 45 hours work on this beast.
I can make these to order if anyone is keen? I can prob do you a discount.

Alcohol may have been the influence for fabricating such an intricate and time consuming project.

Yep great thread, goes straight to my soul and back to the day when it was legal to modify your car. Nice one.

Strange really, when tidying the garage I had thoughts involving a big single side-draft carb and a spare injection manifold on a D15 and...

    Well who knows really.
