FOrcefed CBX1000 mid build piccies

Well A long time ago I had mentioned on here that my brother was building a bike...Specifically a Honda CBX 1000

Now if you have clicked the wiki link above you will already have a fair idea of what one might expect riding a bike such as this in its original form letalone a modified one but I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking eh.....



















Just to clarify, 90% of anything alloy you have just viewed is hand turned etc.
This extends to even the brake/clutch pedals.
Also as you can see alot of the frame is hand made also.

Obviously its still a fair way from finished and even he isnt 100% sure everything will work as planned but thats the whole point I guess

He has had his shoulder rebuilt....couple of collar bones afaik and other injuries x100 so yea possibly a death wish

so just to clarify it looks as though hes re-built most of the frame itself and largely the main original part is the engine? its sorta hard to see the original similarities from the close ups.
But man a mid 11 ET in original form is damn quick for an older bike. this will be a beast with the turbo. how much boost does he plan to run?

H-series.....there is still some frame in there somewhere too but a fair portion of it is now gone to accomadate other bits of bikes, assuming it goes he will require more (more modern also) stopping power etc than stock.

At a guess I would be thinking around 7psi for starters but who knows what goes on in his mind, I will ask next time I see him.
