Decided today that I've run out of time to get decent brake pads, So have settled for some TRW pads from ripco, Luckily the morrinsville branch had a set in stock so I grabbed them. Took my rotors off and had them machined, Threw it all back together after work this arvo.

Also gave the engine bay a quick clean while I was at it

Couple of photos from about a week ago.

My boss also asked me if I wanted to go up to hampton downs with him next tuesday for the uncles club trackday, Already had next monday and tuesday booked in for annual leave anyway . Have sorted a friend to fit and balance my semi's for me. Will be getting done on wednesday morning (Doing it for a box of piss )

So yeah, Last thing to do is get tyres on and it's good to go for nimm

Hey man, can you let me know how comfy those Jamex seats are? I have heard mixed opinions and want to know if you're gonna get a sore back or a sore ass after sitting in it for hours. Cheers

Car went mint at nimm (Apart from it spitting one of its gearbox mount nuts off as I came onto the front straight), New gearbox, and semi's made it sooo much more fun to drive - A hell of alot more grip! Will put some photos / videos in here soon.

So before I opened my bonnet just to check things out, And yeah, I just dont know how to explain how something like this could happen? Not sure what it is, Doesnt smell odd so probably just mud. Whatever it is its stained the paint on the bits you can see will have to cut and polish it.

    Thought I should update this.

Nimm went great, No real problems. New gearbox and clutch performed brilliantly, Along with the sticky semi's I had on there. Heres some photos and a couple of videos of the day. All credits to people who took the photos

Last weekend my workmates son crashed his car, a '93 bug eye DC2. He was going to scrap the car as a whole. I told him I could help him part it out if I could help myself to a few parts, And so I did

Scored a set of mugen shocks in mint condition, Springs unknown brand - Are blue, might find out when I clean them up.

Also grabbed the ECU out of it, Being out of a manual OBD1 B18C integra, I should be able to have it chipped / tuned if its not been already

On my way home from the last auckland meet, I hit a possum going around a corner, Didnt think much of it till I got home and had a look to see what damage had been done till I found that the whole lip and come off Went back to look for it a couple of days later and it was gone

Thats about all for now. Got to sort my debts from the big spend that was nimm before I can start buying more stuff for this, Along with paying off my new car. The CB accord, Those who have seen and sat in it can attest to how immaculate it really is!

Small update, Managed to score some more parts off the DC2 I'm wrecking.

Spare set of axles, Will get new outer cv joints, inner cvs will get cleaned, re-packed with grease and new boots. Will also be replacing the intermediate shaft bearing.

O2 sensor as I think mines playing up.

And another V/C! Any ideas for colours?

Called around to try and source a bearing, nobody had them.....apart from honda Going to cost me $76. The whole assembly is pressed together.

Dug out my skunk2 gearknob which had rusted, Gave it a quick sand and put it on the buffer to tidy it up, Came out tops , Photo doesn't do it justice.

Also got some paint stripper and stripped the V/C.

Went and did some more work on the wreck, Managed to get myself the dash out of it (no airbag) . The dash has little dents on it from the windscreen smashing and hitting it, anyone know how to get these out? or make them look any better?

Pic with my gauge pod sitting on it

Also getting the carpet out of it, As mine has a hole in it from where my heel has been resting.

Oh you can also see in the background of the pic the steering rack too, That will be getting manualised for my car
