Coilovers will come at a later date, may settle for springs till I've paid off a few debts. Priorities suck
Thanks b_series_poweryou'll probably be seeing it in the near future anyway.

I'd like to get a Zeal rear lip, and a front lip, undecided yet on what style I'll be going for. When it's road legal I'll most likely be popping over to catch up with degan.

The build will go from there. Pix will be up soon
Heads off to be acid washed tomorrow.

ThanksWill have the head back tonight, So I can get onto cleaning up the ports etc. Also pulled apart the intake manifold, that is also been acid dipped. IAB's are being removed, and the manifold will be port matched to the head. Will put pics up when I have some and when I have time to.

All depends if I can get my hands on a rolling body I can drop the R into once this motor is all done for a daily![]()

In the head, All valves have been glass beaded, and wirebuffed, so are all clean. Have also started lapping them all in. intake valves need a bit more lapping though. Will post pics up tonight.
edit:valves were all vacuum tested today, came back sweet. Block is getting glass beaded tomorrow. Have started polishing the combustion chambers aswell.

The engine rebuild has come to a little bit of a halt, as the prep work for the head is basically done, its had the exhaust ports polished, and has had the casting marks smoothed off. Just need to get some new valve seats, order my new springs, retainers, keepers, valve stem seals etc etc And I can start putting it back togetherSprings and retainers Will be aftermarket, Most likely from the Skunk2 catalouge. Still unsure wether I will run stock cams, or upgrade to aftermarket ones.
Edit: Also, The right inner CV joint broke, So I'm off up to strongs today to pick up a replacement item, and some more honda mtf *sigh* $37 a litreGoing to have to replace the passenger side outer boot this week to as it seems it has split also.
Edit 2: Pix!
Floor - Also picked up some push clips for that rear boot plastic.
Head and cam girdle bits. - Went nuts with some scotch brite and a wire buffer, cleaned all these up, blew degreaser though all the oil ways, then blew them drive with an air duster.
Exhaust ports on the head - Been smoothed and have begun polishing.
Combustion chambers just need to be polished, then I'll port match the manifold to the head, then I can get a gasket kit for the intake manifold and reassemble that.
