Just put in on sunday some nolathane rear trailing arm bushes in the da6 cos the factory ones where gone burgers. Toke maybe 45mins to put them both in. The ride is just a we bit stiffer. Is it worth doing all my bushes in nolathane cos I can get 40% of rrp.

After july 18 trackday the teg did me proud with great handling and good brakes that would out brake everyone and the LSD worked wonders. After having a awesome battle with illicit in his dc2 sir integra I found that he had a slightly faster straight line speed them my little b16a. So now I will put my time into geting my b18cr finished in into the da6.

Just went round places today looking at prices for full cage for the DA. They prices around the same 2k for a full 6point gage with side intrudtion bars. All fitted and with MANZ approved cages and log book. The workmanship was not even by no means. Petes customs was byfare the tidyest cage and welding and knew what he was talking about. I would like to see just a wee bit more amps cranked into the welds but thats just me. He cost a wee bit more then the others but Id rather have good workmanship. So Im saving hard to get cage.

Go see automotion they did my cage decent welds and tidy work, $1350 for it, http://nzhondas.com/forum/build-thre...tml#post969037

Was sposed to go right through to the struts and be a 8pt but the motor wasnt in the car so they didnt know if it would fit or not. They were only going to charge 1400 for a 8pt

Did it happen to be a guy that has been in england learning about cages for the last 12 months? I heard something about a guy had bought a race prep shop in town.

And bugger he sold up he still owes me a strut bar for the civic

Yeah when he did our cage he was really onto it, car was on blocks and then shimmed, chained to the floor to make the chassis exactly level and lots of laser levels to. Defienlty would recommend him if he was still going cages.

Thanks for the offer but i need to make one to fit where the cage comes through to the engine bay in the photos

    no. just the engine.

---------- Post added at 09:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:59 PM ----------

not even the engine. you'll just have to rewire the ecu end. easy as if you have the pin outs for both.
