With the accord the heater didnt blow hot for some reason, the heater core is 3/4 blocked i think. so pretty much i swapped the whole climate control from the parts car into it. While everything was out i removed the whole cars wiring loom and replaced it with the unmolested one out of my parts car.
So i pulled my whole car apart!
pile of no longer needed front end parts. the parts cars mint guards and bumper will be going on.
and this is seriously GAY. windscreen rust!
anyways its back together now and i just gave it a wash
Wanted to buy, Mint grey rear bumper!!!1

Looks good. I'm loving the digital dash!
yep the digital dash is awesome, even tells me how much fuel ive used/is left.
anyways change of plans with the civic, this car is going to be my gfs daily driver now. Im keeping the B18B motor in it and converting it to automatic for her to carry the baby around in when im at work. The car will have EVERYTHING removed so it will be on stock shocks and springs and probably steel 13" wheels again if i cant find a couple of 195 50 15's for the DC2 fat 5's.
This has been sitting in the shed for the last 6 or so months so i moved it today and stuck the stock front shocks in.
Have a DC2 parts car to get the auto parts out of on the way so more pics next time.
Im still building the B20VTEC but im going to put it in something else....................................

lol the worlds first ever manual to auto conversion![]()
haha not really. I have done it on two accords purely to get their manual gearboxes and resell the cars. You just cant get B20A manual boxes anymore and they blow up so easily.

lol yea just jokes
iv done it 2 a p10 primera for the same reason fwd sr boxes suck
Its really good when parts cars come up for cheap and you split them with your mates. The poor thing isn't going to know what hit it! New plymouth gypsy dismantling time.
Do you mind putting together a bit of a write up for the YS1 casing swap in my build thread?
That is quite a nice looking Accord. The amount of work you're putting in isn't far off mind blowing. All the engine in engine out business etc... Looking good; can't wait to see the b20 vtec going.

the civic:
haha its automatic now!!
all i need to do to make it driveable is weld the gearbox frame rail mount on and find some auto box solenoids so the gearbox will actually change gear!
GF will be pleased!

back to the accord again for this one post.......
the car is whoring fuel like a cunt, has been sicne i put the motor in and i bet its something to do with it being a blacktop b20a. so i stripped it down to its bare essentials and ran it off a gold top ecu.
I put on the B16A2 intake manifold to delete the IAB and EGR bullshit! The gold top ECU has none of that on it so i wont get any error codes.
before:
removed old shitbox ugly intake:
blocked egr pipe the lazy way..
and B16 intake on
Set the timing with the timing light and away she goes. for some reason i have my low end power back (doesnt stall so easy when taking of from a standstill like it used to and making me look like a FOOL that cant drive)
Ill see if the fuel economy is any better next week.
