    My shuttle build

    I have a thread in another forum about my build and decided to start one here

    Car is a EF5 shuttle rti intrac

    What i have done

    D16a vtec out of my old coupe
    excedy clutch pressure plate and Lightened flywheel
    replacement clutch
    9mm HT leads
    platnum spark plugs
    simota intake + some old tubing i had lieing around.
    98 spec integra type r gearknob
    15-6.5 dished look mags
    New exhaust. its not too loud but just right
    Clear indicator lights
    EF3 si lip
    EF3 glass headlights
    Da Front lip on the Rear
    got one seat in, passengers side
    neuspeed race srpings on ef9 shocks

    What I still need to put in
    Rear sway bar
    Drivers SI seat

    i just got one word of advice dont crash these things get owned as learning to drive in one of these and its wasnt pretty as.
    Honestly never thought i would see the day of some one doing one up but after seeing the h-t pictures i see why now
    good lucky with your build do i here a shuttle build off ?

    re: thirdson Yes it is and the shell is long gone. it was fucked and i got the leads from pick a part

    its not running vtec yet.. still in the process of a obd1 swap

    Andrew - your one is probably faster at the moment....

    hopefully i can get he shocks tomorrow and next week it will be

    do the intrac models have the viscous coupler on the drive shaft to the rear??

    no think it is built into the drive shaft

    The VC is built into the rear diff. Basically the rear diff has two viscous LSDs inside it. The one powering the wheels is actuated by a solenoid linked in with the A.L.B which means you can short the wires and run full-time 4WD.

    sweet, why is it only the americans that have the guts to convert a ef hatch to 4wd i thought that would be a hit with all the ef'ers here lol

    nice rare shuttle tho, and manual makes it even better

    Really!? my understanding of it was the A.L.B Disengages the Rear wheels when in a slide?

    It disengages the rear wheels when the front ones are locked.

    I got that much lol.

    I have put a civic si seat on the passengers side and will modify the dirvers side after i fix up the material on it.

    I have also bogged and primed a few dents
