ok, ive done some basic engine mods, AIR FLOWING IN AND OUT with the power of honda's pride (the VTEC)

ahhaha! it should be fine with a wee bit of tune using piggyback, either vafc or camfc.. people here in nzhondas says they are almost the same anyway.. havent bought one yet, but i will afta playday..

    oh well,
another NA honda..not that mint, but it should be fine for a budget student like me.. reeeaaalllly basic first steps..LOL! oh well, money matters(we all know that)..

    4-2-1 xforce headers

(thanks adam-FBI rulezz nzhondas! yeeha!!) with 2.5 inch collector and 2.5inch customed exhaust all the way back..( no pic of exhaust yet but i will take a shot)-thanks to Nva2nd for helping.sorry for being pain while i was booking at your shop.LOL, anyway cheers man! heheh!

intake is actually for EK9 civic LOL. I did try my best to hook it up, with all my sweat and blood. LOL.. wasted $30 bucks of petrol goin round htown to find how could i make it fit(its quite tight LO,hahhaha!

    PENIS of my WHALE..ahahaha!

all that stuff ended up with this piece of shit! Kiddin! its not that FAST, but i would say its all worth something for me..

at the moment, im in process of stripping the inside panels of my car, removing bits and pieces, including the "concrete"(not sure if it is concrete or something hard and quite heavy that sticked on to the panels) under the back seat and boot.. i think those are the things that made this accord SOO heavy like tits! LOL! hahhaha! oh well,(no cougar shits on this please)LOL! hhaha!

Waiting for my ordered slotted disc rotors. hope i could install it this weekend.

As well as the adjustable suspension(thanks munky07) for your awesome teins mate! and deal as well!

Thought it was a good time for this pic

From what I can gather, that "concrete" is sound deadening. Removing it will save you a few kgs but I still think you should install all those mods then GET SOME TRACK TIME under your belt before going all hardout. Learning how the car handles and how to drive will make you go a hell of alot faster then taking out a little weight.

Rollcage, I'd not bother with a half cage as they mostly just add weight and thats about it. You can't get a full cage either unless your going to be MANZ certified. And again, it'll just make your car a whole lot heavier.

Bucket seats - really up to you, if you feel the current ones won't hold you in round the track, same with the harness. Just about all the people I see at trackdays manage to use just the factory belts and still survive.

If I was you I'd do this setup on the car and be done with it

Some decent track tyres on light wheels
Brake fluid that'll handle the track + some good pads
    Some good suspension
    Few bars to help handeling

Your not going to get your car really light, nor make alot of power (unless you spend alot of money) so I'd say do the above, learn how to race and if your really keen on it down the line then get something better suited to racing.

just get some dc2r recaros, and they look good too !

if youv got the wing becasue you think its going to help you when speeding over 160kms you should get a good front bumper with spliters and canards and diffusers

You'd want to remove the front canards also if that were the case, or the aero balance will be up the shit.

1 thing, trivium mentioned but you havnt, what tyres are you planning on running on the track? with good semis, you will shave an easy second off your laps, and be a shit load safer with the extra grip
You think car racing is fun... try going down a river stuck in a plastic tube dodging rocks... even I ask myself why

Hey Vindots - have you actually driven on the track at all? Because if you havn't then I'd sugguest not to spend too much on the car til after you have. Becasue A)you might find the car to be terrible to drive on a track and look at other options before you sink alot of money into your current car and B) you might actually hate track racing and have wasted alot of money

for this car IMO i would run 16"s on the track, you will have a similar profile tyre to 15"s on a teg or civic......
and i would run the r888s on a seperate set of rims too, you dont wana drive them every day on the road, it will kill them pretty quick, and they have poor wet road handling

^ yup. and 15s won't clear the front brakes. They're pretty cramped in there already with the standard 16s i have.

the right style 15"s will clear, 96spec ITR rims will clear JUST, but 16"S would just go better IMO

Ill just randomly add bits every now and again...

Brakes - Get some Euro R calipers and slotted discs. Get very good fluid and pads. You will need them. You will spend $700 - $800.
