Brakes - Get some Euro R calipers and slotted discs. Get very good fluid and pads. You will need them. You will spend $700 - $800.
will the euro r ones gain much? and do you have to space out or anything? i know they for 300mm rather than 282mm aswell........

and by good fluid, he means something like dot 5.1
You think car racing is fun... try going down a river stuck in a plastic tube dodging rocks... even I ask myself why

Should just be a straight bolt up and yea, will be worthwhile upgrade if you can get a set. Front only tho, the back are fine.

RBF600 is good fluid. It's what I use.

If you like the style of wing keep it, who cares what all the fanboys say, are you building the car for your self or what? As jarred had said, brake up grades are a good place to start. Get your self some hawk H.P pads and new disks as you can.
The r888 is an excellent tyre for what you will be doing. Try and get some more susspension braces too, they do help.

Get to know your car, go drive a few country roads, to the speed limit and get used to how your car handles around corners.

The better you know the way your car handles, the better you know how you can push it on the track.

Ah i see, i'm running bendix ultimate all round at the moment, as i could get them very cheap at the time. They have been very good so far, no fading, but they will be put to test at the next track day i go to at taupo.

Last track day i went to was nimm, and it was wet most of the day and dry with puddles the rest of the day lol.

Theres a few very good driving roads around here, scotchmans valley which runs between the hamilton - morinsville road and walton. And toataroa road that runs between karapero mobile (sh1 south of cambridge) and SH29 near matamata. These roads are both good for getting used to the handling of your car under the legal speed limit I used to drive them every thursday night, and then back again on friday morning.

My Bendix Ultimate after 1 track day...

EBC Red and green are crap too.

Serously, do it once, and do it right!

How much did the Znoellis cost you? Brand new Mugen from Honda are only $400.

Make sure you get your suspension set up right. I spent ages at NIMM setting it up right just trying to get it to stay on the track!

16" wheels with R888's will be sweet.

Keep your 17"s for the road with normal tyres.

Thats crazy, my bendix ultimate pads were barely worn after taupo, but that was only 25 laps to be fair. 5 sessions of 5 laps, the next track day will put them to the test!

Well you have spent money on brakes what is a good thing. (get some token mugen brake fluid, its better than all the rest )

You could get some strut bars. How about a tein rear bar. Will go good with your suspension (I have the same in my car).

Apart from that, get some good tires, and you should be away laughing

    Looking good eh
