Easy fix for you Lance, pack Ruby and Kath up in the car.... and go stay at your fathers house for two weeks!
damm lance.. back to the grumps just like the ol' car painting dayssorry I didnt need to remind you
I personally went with the apexi WS II sports muffler (turbo application 3") , I didnt want loud either and .. when it turned up I was like wholey fuck its huge.. and still do, I think it will JUST fit .. thats using my precision eyesI also wanted a simple standard look, not a huge dumpy out the back.
I'm never grumpy, just less ticklish hah..
FTP is slowwww & I cant sleep so here's some pics.
Had to replace the fitting for the oil feed in to the turbo with the one below as I re used the braided teflon line:
Some saturated RC 750's from AAP Imports home
Funny look'n things
Stainless bolts for the rail and some spacers I pinched from a wreck (exciting stuff heh!)
Oil feed for turbo
The hats that are too tall still:
No good...
Some fabrication pics from Mike at Sinco Customs.
Oil drain (peakboost mani is a bit of spaghetti and a real bitch to get a drain out of it nicely):
Another shot
3" mandrel exhaust. Just out of mild, not a fan of the sound of stainless + it needs to be thick walled cause it'll probably get a beating
Hmmm nice bend lol and the magic thumb haha
I couldn't find a muffler I liked so I ended up with pretty much exactly what it use to be, an RPS but in 3". The en of it is pretty big probably 4" so feel free to fire some fart cannon jokes off if you like...
Alloy coolant overflow
From the top (has a sweet little speedflow machined lid):
The rear alloy catch can for the block tails:
The other alloy catch can off the front for the valve cover breathers
You can see the oil feed here, it will be straight just not on properly
Bit of an 'overall' shot:
And finally a nice little alloy bracket up front:

Everything in moderation, except Spamcrew
Looking bloody good! loving the custom brackets, and where did you get your overflow can as i am after one i can mount down low with a fitting so i can run a braided line to the radiator.
Clean as expletive.
Looking good Lance. Reminds me, I have the block of yours sitting in the shed, I will drop it off some time if you're going to be home.

^ pussy? Thats hard core sucka!
Haha yea I'll give the sock/pantyhose a miss.
Car is coming home on Monday I think, just need to measure up the cans and order some more black braid then off to the dyno for a tune![]()
So it will get a base tune first then once its run in it'll get its full tune?
That will depend on the tuner. There's two schools of thought about running in vs rape it straight away.
I'm not experienced enough to really form my own opinion on it but the argument for raping straight away seems to make sense to me...
Its probably somewhere in this thread of doom, but what ECU are you running?
Power FC![]()
looking good Mr Hayce man. No expense spared!
NZHondas.com... Serious business...
You will be so stoked to see it up and running on the dyno! This will have to be a NZPC mag cover car for sure... That's if you would give them the pleasure of featuring it?
YahNearly arsed it to run the T1 trigger but to dear at the time.
CheersDon't know about the no expense spared, although the latest pics weren't cheap!
Haha thanks, if they wanted to I wouldn't object. I'd be pretty doubtful they would though.
omg lance this is goen to be goen by 100 pages![]()
