    haha wtf now Im confused... Which colour is the light brown? The last gaurd I posted?


    Hmm maybe I should clarify.

    The first pictures I posted of the gaurd the was painted is history

    The second gaurd that was test painted is also history.

    Grant is currently looking into the colour on the Toyota XB (cube/box looking thing). This is not even close to Vinnas.


    To throw some more confusion in the mix... Ill be heading off to "another" paint shop to see if they can help me more with the colours Im looking at.

    Ive also found some Lexus colours I like too


    The cars is quite away's from being painted yet so I can chop and change as much as I like.

    Just make sure it's a factory colour or you have left over paint if it's custom, makes it easier to match if it get's damaged :thumbsup:

    Saw a similar colour to the DC2 on a Subaru Outback. The 98-04? (meh, Japanese Volkswagens, don't know the exact years) shape. Think it had some metallic in it too.

    Has two tone right? Bottom bit is darker grey/charcoal? Ive seen them looks quite good. Actually maybe that was a legacy

    Volvo has a similar colour on one of its big 4wd drive things too.

    That's it. Lol, I thought it looked good too, thought it'd be a good colour for a Civ. Pretty sure it's an Outback... higher ride height and chunkier wheels. See it pretty much every day I go riding.

    The panel shop I went into to see about painting my car has a machine they just put on a car and it spits out a colour code. The guy there was telling me about a customer who went in with a fluro green bic pen and said this is the colour I want. And thats what he got.

    I should imagine that any dupont retailer would have access to the same equipment.

    For the record it was Horowhenua Panel and Paint here in Levin
