    Well first, the good:

    Got a brand spanker one of these thanks to EGD. Installed and working.



    I've sent the inlet pipe to the TB and the IC pipe out of the compressor back to Mike to add a couple little things to, should be back next week.


    The bad.
    Got back from whangamata earlier today and started to work on the car, pulled the inlet manifold of and I dunno why, but the 1st thing I see is a curious black mark, I think wtf is that, it couldn't be could it?







    That, is a freeze plug that has been used to plug the existing PCV chamber hole. Below it is a lovely big split/crack.


    Lance is not a happy camper, not one fucking bit... beeelee dat!

    Unsure yet. I waited a good long while to call the bloke, he's coming around Tuesday night to check it out.

    Apparently it can be fixed but I would think it would have to come out again to do that

    The hole is not always 34mm sometimes they need a 35mm plug... I'm guessing mine didn't

    I doubt it. It's the PCV chamber hole so bottom of the block towards the 'box. The pics are 90 degrees out of whack.

    Thanks and yeah Logan, I don't even bother with Lotto lol. If this was someone elses thread I'd be lol'ing at their misfortune haha.

    Current mission is getting oil to the turbo (which is why I removed the inlet mani in the first place) I have a bunch of speedflow fittings and line etc left over from the old guise, just trying to recycle as best I can.
