Question:
Where to buy proper black silicone line in lengths not kits? Prefer Hamilton.

Theres a green plug on the passengers side of an EK under the dash maybe low-ish towards the floor, anyone know what the hell plugs into it? I'll get a pic for reference if needed but it seems to be the only plug unacounted for.
I vaguley remember it was orginally bastardisd to go into my old ecu...

What an extended weekend.

Friday night, drinks out at a work mates place sucking on their kegerator "I'll only have a couple" turns into a bit of an event...
Up early Saturday, have a vom in the shower as my mother-in-law is staying with us (shes cool and all but no point in testing the water haha)
In the car for a birthday in Auckland. Hair of the dog is tough but 4:00am I crawl into bed. Auckland chicks are hot and apparently chopper mo's are "sexy" that's all I'm saying lol.
Wake up, feel pretty good, get in the car on the way home quite early.
Get home and it's Katherine's birthday. So go through the motions of that.
Wake up Monday, fuck work I'm old and feel older.

Monday sucks.
Spend most of it under the dash on my back.
Lose anything & everything for 10 minutes as soon as I put it down.
Smash my head 16 times on the doors arch's
Slice my leg and pinky.
Cat jumps on rear seat with muddy paws.
Forget I don't have a soldering iron anymore. (was gonna put turbo timer in).
Bolt up the NRG gear, all goes together great until I use the lock, won't unlock.
Decide fuck this, I'll do the freeview. Long story short, I now have both ends of the cable sticking up through the floor, mega fail. Funny now, not so at the time.
Sit down for some daddy time at the computer, rig up a fantatstic porn playlist to find out my farking sound devices have all gone bung grrr fuck you too then, pants back on mositeriser back in bathroom.
Go back out to the car and see the NRG lock still won't unlock... Pick up rubber mallet and bash the bastard & it pops off.
Things start to go better from then on.
Today my kidneys feel like they've been mushed out my ears and I've pulled my neck and side muscles... I'm so soft it makes me sick.


Car update:
Anyway, NRG stuff is installed and works great. The lock's a little stiff but after seeing how it works it just needs to loosen up a bit.
Dash is bolted in with all 200 bolts it takes. Steering column is too. Headlights, front bumper, gaurds are all bolted down.
Front engine harness is ran the way it should.
Dash harness is all organised how it should be for ecu/fuse box etc.
Pick up door trims tomorrow.

Mission on at the moment is to make a hole to run the power for alt/starter and the gauge sensors.

Was your old ECU OBD1? If so that green plug will be the diagnosis plug

Hmm nope old ECU was the pfc I still have buuuut the wiring on it was a gangster mismatch of obd1/2a. This plug however is coming from my interior loom which is out of an EK (which are all obd2a right.)
The engine loom is now obd2a too to match the interior and pfc.

If its this plug (P2K ECU from LXi Civic) then it doesn't go into the ECU? I really can't remember where this went, but there were for sure only 2 plugs that went into the ECU (grey in colour)

From memory there is another one that dangles above the ECU that is diagnostics. And another -- which is much smaller that it just capped off with some rubber.

Hmmm my EK loom is a straight shot one piece loom to the ECU which has the 3 plugs on that.
So I'm a little confused as to where that sucker goes. Is that your pic? Woudl you mind tracing the plugs a bit for me? save me a trip to the wreckers. TIA

The plug I have is coming from the dash loom but I can't see a corresponding plug anywhere. I thought there was one running down the side of the car but I don't see one.
It could be it's unused now, I'm just not sure and can't remember lol. All I do remember is it was a mess, 90% of the wires were butchured and some were going into the ecu but that was no doubt some hack to meld the different obd looms.

I can order it and have it here the next day Lance its instock at Samco Supplier.

Hah, possibly. Wiring is not too much of a headache. Can't be too major surely.
I've got to go to the wreckers and pick up some bits and bobs that have disappeared anyway so I'll check one of those cars, if no luck I'll hit Dunc up.

1: to the left it goes up and behind the blower motor, and then the right hand side goes into the firewall.
2: Same deal
3: the part where I can't see where it goes :/

See pic 1. The upper wire (covered with black sheath) I have, it comes down from the dash. Any idea where the lower wire in pic on is going? Or is that the bit you can't see?

If you look at pic2: all the wires that are coming out to the right are joining into the ECU loom (tape with gaps) go up and exit into the firewall.

Can take more pics to clarify.

Well umm it seems when I was being a tidy kiwi yesterday and organizing the loom I grouped it together without even seeing the plug... Hahaha I suck.

Isnt your loom a dc one hacked to fit into an ek

The green plug goes from the standard ek loom engine side which plugs into the dash which has the other end of the green plug on its which is the main dah loom for speddo tach etc
