In all fairness to Mac he has done his best to sort out this replacement which happened quite quickly, just a shame that both bonnets are flawed from the manufacturer. I won't be going for a J's product again if I can avoid it that's for sure.

Anyway, I got sick of working today so trotted out to the garage in my trusty jandels and got stuck in to the "back up" engine I got.

Bit of history on it: This was the boosted engine that was in bumped_eg and then itsjdm's DC teg. It was swapped out because it was smokey and having exssive blow by etc.
So I bought it knowing it was rooted and shit was it The whole thing is pretty sick but I'll hopefully turn that around.

Not sure how or why this happened Couldn't see any corresponding marks anywhere...

Im not sure if that's all me or if it had a little help from someone previously.
I hardly even lent on it at all and it's shared off. In fact I don't even recall it slipping the torque... gay balls.

that mark on the cam cap looks like someone has tried to get it off with a ring spanner and marked the alloy
