No won't be any charges... that's pretty much the problem. I'm owed but it's evidently not a priority. That didn't/hasn't happen through the build.
I don't know man, I've stood her up in the washing machine and though about turning it on a few times![]()

Heh, my daughter went through that a couple of months ago, we just got to the point of stuffing her full of milk before she went to sleep and ignoring her until 7am. She soon got the idea. Bit tough to do tho because she's got reflux still (15 months old now) so wakes up several times each night. She's also not growing much now because of the lack of sleep.Still love her madly though.
Erm, cars, yeah! *grunt*
Thanks to: Makita, Repco, The Warehouse.
Our little girl goes to bed at 6.30 - 7 and wakes around the same time. Has done since se was about 6 months.
No sleepless nights for me thanks. (other than thinking about the honda in the shed or the one in the drive)

That's whats so irritating about it. She slept 7-7 since she was maybe 3 months. Ever since she turned 1 she has changed it up on us. If it were this way from day dot I don't think I'd be a very nice person!
It seems psychological. The other night nothing we did worked, pumped her to the brim with food but she still woke. In the end we caved and gave her 50ml of bottle which she had had fell straight to sleep. WTF 50ml is basically nothing.
We played tough love last night... painful.
My son has slept through since he was 8 weeks old unless his teeth were giving him trouble but my daughter has only slept right through once in her life. Luck of the draw really.

And he emerges from the workshop with some victories and some "niggles".
Victories:
Smacked the old RTA bushes out and installed the new Spherical units from passwordJDM. Fit like a charm.
The Willwood rotor and hats are now married and ready to rumble.
On the hoist I/we cruised over the car to see whats what.
Niggles.
The zorst is a bit if a problem. It is resting on the chassis at the rear where it skips over the LCA.
The oil return is defiantly got to be changed a little. The turbo being so high is going to give it a decent fall but I'm not happy with it.
The supplied bolts for the Wilwood setup (caliper bolts and bracket bolts) are just not long enough. They need to be about 10mm longer.
The exhaust is hitting the rear brake lines where they enter the cabin. Out of everything this is the most annoying.
The right rear hand brake cable is real close to the exhaust.
Fixes.
Most of it is either out of my hands or bugger all to worry about. Mike will look at the car on Monday and will sort the oil return and exhaust at the rear.
I'll pick up some new longer bolts for the brakes. I'll get some longer ones for the suspension too. The stock bolts are too short for the pro c's.
I'm hoping to lay the rear brake lines at the feet of the brake guys. IMO the lines shouldn't be were they are (lowest point they could be..). Also they have used straight fittings and not 90's. Hoping to get them to look at the car early Monday.
Gonna make a little bracket to hold the rear handbrake line off the exhaust. Also going to heat wrap the rear section.
I'll be wrapping the rear section of the exhaust
Looking forward.
The plan is to get the engine timed during the week then Saturday I'll be back down there doing the little bits and pieces to the engine (tightening KS for example) and then... wait for it... turning the car over for the first time.
All going well of course![]()
Most excellent. Exhaust seems to be most of your worries and as you said an easily fixed problem.

Yeah, got some shit to wire, gauges & AVC-R but main task is to kick it in the guts!
Good work!
I've done nothing this weekend so far :s
I have a funny feeling that my car could be in bits for possibly months rather than the one or two weeks i had planned on! It's builds like yours and Brian's that make me want to do a good job first time instead on slapping the engine back in now.
Months is alright it's the years you gotta worry about![]()
left a stack of jerks in your mailbox.
I got them, thanks pud'n pop!
Heard the brake people have been down and checked it out, took some measurements etc so hopefully they'll have that sussed pretty soon, choice
Fabricator hasn't made it there yet but not worried about that, he's my boy blue!
BOOYA found the cam key! It had gone into the crank cover, thank fuuuck for that.
Exhaust is on the chassis as the mounts used were a little too short. Getting longer mounts = win.
Okay not really worthy of a post but hey, some shit went my way for once
You know someone's going to steal your house now or something eh?
Thanks to: Makita, Repco, The Warehouse.
Here's hoping
Actually it'd be nice if they stole the daily so I can get a Euro R I so desire!
Oh and all the plumbing has been given a final tighten. Blocks are being sourced right now to block the water pipe and head... Could it be that with all this progress it might actually really truely be started this weekend!?!?!
I'm starting to flip-fucking-out.

But you have to atleast drag this thread into 2010 before it's started!!!
No no it's still there in all its glory. Just saying it would be nice if it did.
Heater port on water pipe blocked.
Port on head getting taken out and a alloy bung wound in.
Oil return getting modded today.
Plugs are in it.
Picking up new bolts for the brakes
REALLY need to source a throttle cable bracket now.
Edit: oh and I had a few beers over the weekend and fired off a few emails about:
in 17" x 8" +35. I've had some replied but I've asked them to check again. Came in way under what I thought... almost too good to be true styles.
