I believe the block currently resides in that purple EK that was at the Nats. Could be wrong.

Are you going to turbo it down the route, or chase the NA record?

Looks tops regardless, good luck with the build.

Had a brief look at it at the nats, looked awesome

Wouldn't mind seeing how the rear polycarb window has been done. It's on the list of things to do on mine and with the curve she doesn't look easy!

You should be able to smash that record with a lot less than 1000hp and methanol injection.

I'm gonna put a lot of effort into tuning the NOS timing and it should run 9s

Visited Ronnie earlier this week, had a good chat and got some stuff off him:

    I like this pic:

Question for you, most likely already been answered..... but was the car Matte Black like the hatch before you took ownership of it??
Guess what Im asking is did you repaint it back to its former glory colours?

Re: Andrews 'The Drag Car that should have been' thread

It was vinyl wrapped matt black by the previous owner and that was pulled off before I bought it.

The wrap wasn't that great and besides matt black is kinda gay.

I'm still undecided if I take the shit off the boot as well

Had a shitty day yesterday so undertook some retail therapy in the form of fuel rail, pressure regulator, AN fittings and braided hose

Still managed to get the fitting types wrong *facepalm*

Now just waiting on a price for a Bosch 044 fuel pump
