    efsi's EF3 Picture Update 9/1/2012

Hi im jase and this my EF civic build. Its going to be slow but i like the idea of documenting my experinces and shairng it with others

Did i mention its going to be slow.

    Any suggestions welcome

Anyway to the car i had 2 civics an ef3 that was rusted out and an ef2 witch now has a dead d15b hence EF2.5

    ^the EF2 when i first got it^

so plans you ask? prity much to put the drive train and running gear from the EF3 in the EF2 with modage ofcorse.
oh and id like to take all the um POO bodykit stuff off and replace with stock parts including the halo lights and chrome tails. (that junks for sale if any1s keen)

    ^yuck^

so the ef3's striped and gone no pics sory
and i cracked the sump off the zc to find....... JUNK so bye bye zc.
im in the process of obtaining a beter one tho

sory about the lack of pics ill get some up wen i can.

^well heres the 2.5 as it sits now^

its on king spring super lows but with 14' its super high
altho iv got some ajusties lined up to sit it down a bit more
and some br sports wheels like these in 15'

these arnt my wheels but there the same^

Ok so as it stands the cars current mods are
    king super low (high) springs
    the poo kit
    the halos
    the chrome tails
    a rage cannon lol
the side bump strips are molded over niceley might i add
    that fantastic orange paint (lolol)
and a silver batman style steering wheel
so its prity much a rice cooker at the mo

well thanks for looking updates soonish wen it stops raining

    Re: efsi's EF2.5 build

    small update time

So iv decided to go turbo for the ef reason? Turbo of course .
I was diging around in my parts bin and found a mint vf10 turbo and an intercooler from an evo and figered y not.

In other ef related news im going to look at a parts car 2moro from forum user bigVTECSIR's brother its an ef7 crx with a bhg and pink stik but thats all good saves me looking for another zc engine ( iv got 1 thats broken).
ill just make 1 good one from the two.

Also iv started removing the sound deadning (what a f*%$ing C*#t job that is) any tips on doing this would be good as im kinda failing hard with it

    thanks for looking

Dry ice and a hammer/chisel is the best way to go for removing sound deadening.

Good luck with the build - glad you are ditching those tail lights!

    Re: efsi's EF2.5 build

    Picture update

Sory bout the crapy cell pics i forgot my digicam (fail) and alomst forgot to take pics (double fail)
it looks beter than it is. Its ripe as in and around the hatch
got a sweet score off the crx to

some GAB damper adjustable shocks those are the back ones the fronts are still in the car but there all in good nic

    and a front strut bar
I pulled the rear suspension for the disk brake conversion cause wen i had my other ef3 i didnt realise the ef2 had drumbs (triple fail) i no better now of course. Im guna do the front to, the ef2's got a broken wheel stud so i might as well lol.
Next is the loom as its beter than the one iv got and the gas tank and lines(i forgot to from the ef3 quad fail).
Im also guna swap the dash and interor in as its black and the ef2's got skum blue.

If any1's keen on some ef7 crx parts or the shell pm me it's got live plates.

    thanks for looking

I don't think that is the CRX I'm thinking of, but there used to be one knocking about from the late 90's, white, legit Mugen kit amongst other parts. Used to have a plate starting with S back then.

according to carjam it hasent had another plate but who no's

id flip if the kit was real is there any way to tell wether it is? shame the front bumper is munted

its not realy to spec'd up only the GAB shocks some sort of aftermarket mid pipe and some 1 piece 4-2-1 try-y looking headers and the bling bits of course kit lights and that crap

if it is a legit mugen kit it should have this symbol stamped on the reverse
