ok todays news. i painted the bonnet today as well as the batery stand and the rear wing. i didnt do too bad for someone who has no real painting experence, i made the mistake of forgeting to blast the dust out of the channels so i got a wee bit of crap in my paint. and i had a moth wing come out of the channels and land on the paint so i had to try and get that off lol. i finally got to hear my car hit vtec lol, taken long enough

some of the sensors in my intake manifold needed a clean up. and for some reason as soon as i hooked up the launch controler up it started running better,

ok todays progress, i recived my new engine mount, pulled all my stuf i painted out of the spray booth and god does the black look soo soo sexy. its looks like its jet black on one angle then on another angle it looks like black with a gold pearl then it looks like black with silver then it looks bronzey.
words dont do it justice and nor do pics.
well i also instaled the mount, filled my gearbox and transfer with oil. tighetend all the weel nuts ect, and i waited till after work to have my first drive ever, and it ran like s**t, so before i explain, i think that any one who ever meets me should give me a twack round the head, because all the problems iv had with it running rich, running bad were because number 1 and 4 leads were around the wrong way on the dizzy lolz. so it was nothing major at all. so i put some gas and had a play around and got some weird looks because there is no doors,windscreen or bonnet, but a few people were stoping at bp to see what it was lol. it felt so good to actualy drive it, still needs some timing work, and my vac leaks need to be sorted, and i need to find out why my revs arnt showing up, but i think i know which wire it is because theres a broken blue wire leading up to the cluster.

ok bad news, well sorta,
i have oil leaking from around number 4 cyllinder between the head and the block
but the good news is that it should be ready for priming this week and most of the electrical faults have been fixed except my dash cluster back lights dont work and also now my indicators are not working

It maybe the dizzy o-ring seal or solenoid gasket or even the rocker cover gasket. Clean it down and run it up and see exactly where its coming from.

it definatly looks to be comming from the head gasket i wish that im wrong, ill get someone to check it for me tommorow

ok todays progress, i have dash cluster lights, and my headlight are working properly now, just gota get the indicators sorted, started to attack the internal wiring as i wasnt happy with the mess that it is, so iv been cutting and soldering because when the looms were spliced, a right as**ole of a mess was created by cables being too long or crossed over, placed through existing wiring.
now i need to find a new exhaust gasket as the one i made has efed itself lolzki.
and i also need to know how to adjust the idle and also get a fan switch cause mine is broken

todays progress, sweet f all lolz, na just jokes, iv painted my brake calipers yellow insted of the blue that they were, preped nearly the hole body for priming on saturday and iv attacked more wiring by my fuse box, also decided to do a bit of a wire tuck for the headlight harness. also i got to see whakatanes first attempt at a space launch lolz. a wrx sti had a wee tad of a sideways incident involving speed over 200k a kerb and a car clearing a stock bank and a fence, total distance traveled without touching the ground was 42.6 metres. the rangas that live nearby stole a damaged 19 inch rim with out the centre of the rim. and the sterio, gauges, and the seats lol. photos are below

this car had just had a fully forged motor built by possom instaled about a week ago, so hes giong to be one unhappy man, cause he aint insured cause he was drinking.
