Hey all,
Well I know it's been a while, but discussions have been had with some NZH mods and we've all agreed to be grown up and leave the past in the past and move on so here I am
So things have progressed since I last posted and I finally have a car sorted and it's on it's way as we speak. I'll have a definate arrival date soon, but it's paid for and on it's way so that's the biggest thing !
Whilst I've been hunting the right car I've had a form of internet car shopping madness and each time I missed out on a donor car at auction it seemed to motivate me to purchase more parts !
Still all in all I've ended up with a big chunk of what I'll need once the car gets here !
I've managed to do a deal with a great company in the US who are bringing their time attack NSX over to Australia in May for the World Time Attack challenge and so are putting a whole load of parts in the container for my project and then I just need to get them back from Aussie to NZ so it will save me a whole load on freight costs !
I've got wide rear guards, side skirts, carbon bonnet, APR rear wing, Taitec undertray, centre exit exhaust system, a whole load of suspension parts to remove the rubber parts and give it some real feel and lock up the compliance front end on the NSX.
Got a 5 speed race prepped box with clutch and some other bits and peices also.........
STMPO who are working with FX Motorsport development to get their time attack car sorted are the ones supplying most of the parts and a few other people helping out here and there and they're a great bunch and very helpful with information and suggestions on where best to spend the money for the best results.
These are the rear guards I've got coming....... and side skirts to match..... front guards are different though. Basically the from the doors back is the same.
Oh and bonnet is the same as what I've ordered.
Went down to Racetech and have ordered some seats, belts, quick release steering hub and wheel and electronic fire extinguisher system for the car too so there's some more mods for you !!!

Looks good canman, can't wait to see progress. You mentioned you were getting wider rear guards, is it going to be an all round wide kit? Or just the rear? Taitec is tops too,

Sooo nice
