I'd be tempted by SSR Type-Fs, or Enkei RPF1s to keep with the F1 trend![]()

It's not that I don't like to, I just think it brings more to the thread if people post pics of suggestions![]()

+1 for SSR Type-Fs (well the whole car not just the rims)
You mean you do or don't like the pop up lights ?
I'm looking at getting rid of my pop up lights as they weigh around 15KG each with motor assemblies, but I like the look, but weight wise too heavy I think.

Would have thought any dark grey wheels would hide the brake dust?
Sorry for a photo quote but I couldn't work out which name applied to this photo, anyhow +1 vote for these ones:
They aren't quite as "now" as the CE28 or the SSR Type-Fs but they look more like the sort of wheels a big serious high-powered race car should have (IMHO). A lot of the other wheels look cool but the sort of thing plenty of people would have on their Mazda6 or Altezza or whatever. Sorry I have no practical suggestions one way or the other.
PS: And yeah eliminate pop-up headlights. As a general rule, any time you get to choose between having moving parts, or not having them, if all else is equal then don't have them!

Yes I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is to see you.
I think the facelift non pop out lights give the car more of a modern look
I'm not a fan of the NA2 headlights. They look OK, but I was going to go with the Le Mans / JGTC style like this
Not as glamorous as factory NA2 ones, but I think they're more "workman" like, well "race car" like LOL !

Just think Fraser, if you break one of those NA2 headlights vs one of the ones posted above, whats going to be easier/cheaper to replace![]()
Everything in moderation, except Spamcrew
Agreed Fraser, I like those a whole lot more
There's always the options of just putting carbon fibre over the stock headlight positions and mounting Rectangle styled ones in the bumper.
Ive made a small sketch, there are aftermarket teeth on it which are optional but recommended by all NZH but you can see where the lights could go in the redWouldn't be too hard to mount I dont think, and you could get some Light weight LED's in there as they dont have to be road legal or anything
Yeah not a bad idea, but I think they do need to be road legal as the car will be road legal for Targa use......... either way, I think we could make a few different things work OK
Fraser
Teeth have been done

I have no idea if you did the teeth as a piss take or not, but something in me kinda likes it.......... on a red car they'd be less obviously, but still a funny touch !
Fraser
Teeth would make you look like a kamikaze pilot. But then I don't know how you drive, that might be entirely appropriate
The best thing about those race-style headlights is, you could make them yourself for about $100 with a pair of sealed beam headlamps from supercheap auto and some Perspex. So you could make another one for about the same price if someone/something breaks it. Fugly though.

MMMMM meisters
edit: looks like the same kit in the first post

Those meisters are sick! They take my vote.
And headlights, these would be very easy to make, suction moulding is your friend:

Glassjaw, I don't think the offroad thing is a problem, I think it's just there to cover themselves as they're not approved for road use in the US. It's no different to my clutch, suspension and brakes........ all had the same (these are for race use only) type warnings on them..... just ass covering really.
The NA2 headlight conversions are about $ 4K NZ + so I don't really see it as being worth while. I'd rather spend half that or less buying new lights and the race look covers and spend the rest on better things like turbo kit for engine, brakes, suspension etc etc
Hontegra, they're an interesting looking alternative......... I can't find them on their website thoughMight need to hunt a bit more, but they would be perfect I think.
Sirge, yeah sticking with red........ maybe not the factory red, but red of some form..........
