Yea my long term plan is to get my Koni Yellows rebuilt and to import a RPR adjustable panhard bar. Might look at get the rears shortend at the same time. I've got some bigger wagon torsion bars for the front, I'll reposition them one tooth when I get round to fitting them.

Hey man. If you need your tyres swapped round, I can do them on the cheap, I work at a mag store. So long as they aren't 13's/14's (our machine doesn't go small enough to hold the rim ).

    Re: Matt's Old School Honda Thread - Interior Stage 1 - 2/12/09

Interior Stage 1 - Seat swap.

After researching on RedPepperRacing.com I found out that 1988 2G Crx Si seats were a direct fit into the 1G models. Now as my old seats were somewhat tired, plus I wasn't really to keen on either the blue/black seat covers or the blue/cream tartan material I was stoked to hear something else stock would fit. I managed to find a set at Pick-a-part and grabbed them, only downside was the driver seat bolsters were ripped and stuffed. Luckily I was able to source a replacement back in mint condition from another passengers seat. The extremely helpful people at Classic Upholstery in Highbrook did an awesome job of swapping the bolster mechanism from my old drivers seat into my new passengers side back, then assembly the seat again. Workmanship was top notch, and they were really cheap too ... cheers guys.

    Anyway onto the pics

    Before

    After

I'm going to give them a good vacuum/wash asap. But for the moment I'm pretty happy, nice new seats for under $120, plus they will look fully OEM with my black Si dash/door panels/carpet

Cheers. Yea I would say so. Only thing is, they are booked until Feb with boat stuff, the young guy working their took my seats on as "Saturday Job" type thing, no harm asking though, they should be able to sort you out!

Another small update, Swapped the rear shocks today for some aftermarket Munroe ones. Was really pleased with the difference they made. Also sorted out some sounds for the back today, built a rangi intake because the filter straight off the manifold wasn't ideal, also gave the water system flush and filled her up with nice new coolant.

    1G Crx inspiration....

I WANT THAT RIDE HEIGHT (And paint scheme, and interior, and jdm y0 sunroof monsoon lol)

This is a 1G Crx from RPR, guy is running the exact same suspension setup I am planning to, EG/DC Koni Yellows in the rear, with shortened AS Koni Yellows in the front, with the brake line clip relocated, and shocks repositioned lower in hubs. Along with 22mm Wagon torsion bars, 450lb rear springs and a fixed rear swaybar.

Rims are growing on me too, might have to find some, then find the hens teeth, the aerocovers

No prizes for guessing whats missing from this photo

In EB news, have cut and chopped up two this week. One was CYB that went today, the other was the one I was doing the headgasket on. Decided I'd rather sell the motor/shell separately as I don't have time to complete fixing it up as I *Should hopefully have a full time Job after Christmas until uni starts*

Is that your new ride height in that last pic of the rear of the CRX??
What is the car in the background of that pic if you don't mind me asking..... looks like a decent set of rims on it!! (the CRX and the car in the background)

However, no covers for them - Never seen a set in NZ!

^ Ohh, damn that was my fault. I saw them and sent the link to Tim... haha

I had a fucking hairy baby @ Strongs the other day, some came in, 14" ones too. And I jumped up and down and told anyone who would listen I wanted to buy them. Then they got scrapped... FAIL
