Bit of a problem...And new bits!

Alright, after all the positive updates I've had with the civic lately, I was due something to go wrong...
Over the last few weeks or so, I've developed a crack in my windcreen just underneath the rego sticker. Over the last few days, the crack has slowly snaked it's way up the screen a good 20cm or so... Since it was obviously getting worse, I organised to have Supreme Screens come in and replace it..
Once they'd removed the screen, we've found that the cause of the crack was infact rust underneath.... There are two patches of rust, one on each side. Strangely enough, the crack started on the side that wasn't too bad. The drivers side on the other hand doesn't really look too good...
I've taken the car straight down to one of our paintshops to get them to have a good look over it and price it up.. Don't really know the full extent of it without having a really good look so will hopefully find out tomorrow.
While it's there, I've decided to make the most of it and have them repaint the black plastic door trims which have faded quite alot. Since I had my sideskirts painted recently, it really has shown up just how faded these trims were so will be happy to have this addressed at least..
Here's a couple of photos of the rust:
Also, I have finally decided after alot of consideration to change my exhaust system... I am wanting to have the civic sitting lower but the straight pipe undertank exhaust sits far too low. I've gone with a full Buddyclub Spec III Pro system so look forward to getting that![]()
This means my current exhaust system will be up for sale shortly.. It's a 2.5" pipe with a new muffler fitted!
All going well, I should be getting a set of white ITR wheels with tyres tomorrow morning.. Considering putting them on the car while it's on the paintshop so that I can get the RG's off to get powdercoated...Had a good chat with Gung and Dieter last night and think I've decided on a colour to go with.. think it should definitely suit the car...
