Motul Honda Cup racer Rik Wakelin’s Civic EG showed off it's stunning new livery at the second round of the summer series championship at Pukekohe on October 29^th.

Rik’s car now carries the branding of series partner the New Zealand Honda Club and its web site nzhondas.com.

The new look for the car, which has previously run in a plain Honda championship white colour scheme , was designed by forum member Matt Reiri and turned into glorious reality by Whakatane graphics specialist Glen Paterson and his Bella Graphics company.

It is the first time the country’s biggest car forum has backed a racing car and it will be a feature of Rik’s race driver blog on the popular web site.

The Motul Honda Cup is one of New Zealand’s fastest growing racing series with grids constantly topping 25 cars, and it has already secured two dates with the exciting new V8 SuperTourer series in its first full summer season after three winter season competitions.
