George's Exige build blog

This blog chronicles the 3+year long saga that grew out of a 6-month tidy-up of my Series 1 Lotus Exige. It started out with honest, and modest intentions of tidying up some bits and pieces, and removing some rough edges. It has ended up being a full rebuild of the car with the aim of making a near-concours condition car that breathes fire and awesomeness on the road as well as being a bit brisk at the track.

    Just a little pre-weekend update.... replacement gearbox parts have been ordered and should be here middle of next week at the latest. Aiming to get the box bolted back to the engine and the engine back in the car and running next weekend. Hopefully the following week will involve getting the clam back ...

    Just out of interest, here's the dyno-plots from the run-in. Bearing in mind this was a conservative tune on 6-month old fuel, with a failing gearbox and not much attention paid to ironing out the kinks. It's not too bad.
